If you're looking for a rum to mix with cola that is acceptable and reasonably priced, this might be the one. Not overly sweet, not too potent, not smoky, not spiced, and not harsh on the throat. You can detect its presence, but it doesn't particularly excel in any one aspect. A reliable choice, nothing more, nothing less. Oh, it does not pair well with Pepsi Max. It amplifies its artificial sweetness. Acquired for 13.5€ in Spain

This rum and tonic with a lemon wedge suits me well. The flavor persists through the tonic. Excellent for any time, any day. I have not sampled it on ice; I likely won't; my intention is to keep it for mixed drinks.
Butterscotch, vanilla, caramel, and nutmeg on the nose. The spirit has a light body, and the butterscotch and caramel notes are confirmed from the nose. The finish is medium-short.
Strong alcohol presence with a sugarcane scent. Finishes quickly with a warm, sugary aftertaste.
Very mellow and light flavor, not as sweet as some other rums.
Smooth and effortless. A hint of vanilla. Not sweet.
