Atlantico Rum employs a distinct approach by using both cane juice and molasses for distillation, unlike many other rums. These distillates are aged individually before being blended and then undergoing a further period of marriage. Atlantico Reserva is a Solera-aged rum; following the initial aging, blending, and marrying stages, the Solera process begins, incorporating rums as old as 10 years for the Reserva. The rum's presentation was updated in 2017.

Good rum, but I had slightly higher expectations. The aroma is somewhat harsh. It's a delicious rum, with good vanilla and toffee and earthy notes, but just slightly below what I anticipated.
No harshness, very sweet with a pleasant, lasting flavor.
The finish is very sweet, good for after dinner.
Spicy and medicinal.
