About this bottle
Montanya Distillers, established in 2008, operates its distillery in Crested Butte, Colorado. Since 2014, the distillery sources its sugar cane from Louisiana and combines it with mountain spring water. They employ a copper pot still for distillation, highlighting their high-altitude location and environmentally conscious methods. Aging takes place in used American oak casks from Stranahan's Whiskey, with a filtration process using coconut-husk charcoal to remove color.
