This worked wonderfully in a Manhattan. Dry, reminiscent of brandy but with a more earthy funk that brings to mind certain Rhum Agricoles - not unexpected given their production method.

About this bottle
Montanya Distillers, situated in high-altitude Crested Butte, Colorado, uses local snow-melt spring water for its distinctive rums. The distillery produces island-style rums from Louisiana sugarcane, aged in used barrels from Stranahan's Whiskey. A three-year-old "Montyana Anejo" is slated for release, which will involve finishing the Oro in various casks.

Ordinary, unremarkable. It's not bad for a young rum.
It's quite like a light, somewhat sweet whiskey. Very much so.
Sweet, caramel, exceptionally smooth.
