It has a very sweet, vegetal aroma, reminding me of the free stick of bubble gum included in childhood baseball card packs. It tastes somewhat like gum root, not smoky like its mezcal relative. Quite good for a twist-off cap. This is likely among the first sotols brought into the USA.
