This is a fantastic Sotol! It ranks among the best in its category, with mineral notes that make this smooth spirit truly unique. I'm a fan of Flor del Desierto; it's good quality and reasonably priced.

About this bottle
Don Gerardo Ruelas is the Maestro Sotolero for Flor del Desierto, creating spirits from the sotol plant, which flowers and is not an agave. Therefore, this is not a mezcal or tequila. For this small-batch bottling, the sotol takes 18 to 22 years to mature before being gathered from the arid deserts of Coyame del Sotol in Chihuahua.
