Wonderful aromas! A brief swirl and allowing the alcohol to dissipate for about 5-10 minutes... Following that, it's beautiful in the glass! Soft and mellow, with good body and ample structure, featuring notes of honey, leather, floral, oak, wood, a hint of cassis, and most prominently... dark chocolate! In the mouth, it's round and mellow... very easy to drink and compels another sip. The aftertaste is long, with notes of dark chocolate and caramel persisting to the end. Considering it's XO with over a generation (25 years) at this price, offering this mellowness and beauty along with a very pleasant aftertaste, this represents one of the best value-for-money options available!

Fruity with a trace of acetone on the nose. Brown sugar, prune, and dates on the palate. Not as smooth as Hennessy XO. Watermelon and a bitter grapefruit aftertaste.
Palate: slightly oily on the tongue, with sweet caramel. Nose: sweet, reminiscent of vanilla, like a cognac. Not exceedingly complex, but a very smooth finish.
Smells like honey and almonds. Tastes mellow with nuts and fruit. Lingering and elegant finish.
Incredibly smooth and delicious, quite pleasant.
