About this bottle

Distillerie Tessendier & Fils has produced cognac for other houses since 1880. In the 1990s, Maison Tessendier and Dominic Park initiated a collaboration to create a new label allowing the distillery to bottle its own creations, leading to the establishment of Maison Park and the elegant Cognac Park brand. This Vielle Fine Champagne Cognac, designated for cigar pairing, is a core offering. It is a blend of eaux-de-vie from ugni blanc grapes, consisting of at least 60% Grande Champagne and 40% Petite Champagne, and is bottled at 40% ABV.

Jayceon Baughman 4.3

A sample from a pack of six from this producer. This producer has improved after the less than stellar traditional XO. I thought this was an incredible cognac. Notes of sarsaparilla, along with other complex earthy, herbal, and spicy aromas that are difficult to identify. The initial taste is smooth and round, mirroring the nose. The ending is pleasantly warm, extended, and fulfilling. It is worth buying a full bottle.

Chantel Lockhart 3.5

An intense Cognac from Distillerie Tessendier et Fils in Cognac, France, aged for at least 6 years. It begins with an aromatic profile of honey, saffron, gingerbread, fresh cranberries, and vanilla. Its rich and full body adds notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, black pepper, and hazelnuts, leading to a long and balanced finish. Tasted June 2020.

Jerald Everhart 4.3

Initially, it presents a beautiful hazelnut color in the glass. Vanilla and cardamom are prominent on the nose. The palate is rich with rancio and toasted nuts, which are very engaging.

Brinley Long 4.8

This is fantastic. It goes well with anything and is a remarkable bottling. Plenty of complexity. Enjoyable end. Good value for the money.

Kenneth Pina 3.5

Smooth but overly syrupy and sweet.

Roman Maples 3.8

A pleasant profile with nutty and cocoa elements.
