The "Los Fresnos" region is situated at an elevation between 2068m and 2078m, with soil rich in iron oxide, giving it a distinct red hue. The agave piñas averaged about 7 years old at harvest. Collected during a late April drought, these agaves possessed a higher than average concentration of sugars and minerals.
