100/72 Appearance: Clear, transparent, with fast, large drops falling from a crest that holds its shape briefly. Nose: Creamy, with subtle vanilla, orange, candied lemon and lime, floral notes, pepper, a hint of smokiness, aromatic herbs, and freshly cut grass. Taste: Sweet with a mild burn, creamy (vanilla, butter), vegetal notes, grapefruit, orange, lemon zest, a slight bitterness, white pears, persimmon, robust salty minerals, light acidity, floral hints, and an oily texture on a medium body. Finish: Medium length, leaving behind lingering notes of fruit, minerals, and spices. A solid, straightforward option for sipping neat. Perfect for mixing drinks.

The aroma has a distinct lemon scent, along with sweet vanilla and bready notes. On the palate, something surprising occurs – a powerful black pepper note emerges! It's unexpected and quite strong, as you must look past it to detect the agave and herbal notes, and the sweet finish. Overall, it's a very intriguing tequila, particularly for its cost. As a shot: 6.5/10
I reside in Wixom, Michigan, and I've observed that your new dark label Jose Cuervo Especial in the 750 ml bottle has an unpleasant taste, while the pints are good. I'm unsure of the reason, but they do taste different, and I do not favor it. Could you please investigate if there might be an issue at your distillery and inform me?
Got this for mixing and it was great. Tried some neat tonight to finish the bottle. I did not appreciate it as much as some others. Unnatural. I think I detected some herbal notes but no lime. I did not find it refreshing. Mainly peppery and hot. Maybe I just don't like blanco tequila.
Nose: Sugary, fake vanilla, white pepper, lime peel, agave. Palate: More pepper and vanilla, with coriander and clove. Mouthfeel is full and smooth. Finish is of medium length and has a brief, apparent sting. 2.50/5.00 – Okay (neat)
Sampling neat. Whew... the aroma has a sweet rubber, plastic, herbal scent that feels entirely artificial. The taste is unnaturally sweet, dry, vegetal, herbal, fruity, vanilla, and peppery, but again, very artificial. If you enjoy items like whipped cream or fruity cereal-flavored vodka, you'll appreciate this.
