About this bottle

Chinaco Tequila utilizes 100% blue weber agave, incorporating as much agave from Tamaulipas as feasible, including their own estate-grown plants. The agave is cooked in an autoclave for 12 hours before being crushed and shredded. Following fermentation, the agave is distilled twice in copper-lined alembic stills. Chinaco Blanco is bottled just 30 days after its distillation. The brand's origin traces back to when Guillermo González, then Mexico's Secretary of Agriculture, planted agave in his home state of Tamaulipas to supply Jalisco's burgeoning tequila industry, only for his buyers to cancel contracts upon the plants' maturity. González's response was to establish his own distillery in his hometown and advocate for its inclusion in the designated tequila production zone.
