About this bottle

Corzo's distinctive bottle contains a Highland agave distillate that is triple-distilled and aged twice. The double aging occurs for less than four months in both new American and French Oak casks. Following fermentation with a proprietary yeast and distillation, micro-bubbles of oxygen are introduced to achieve a unique mouthfeel and lightness.

Corrine Adame 4.5

Allowed to sit for about five minutes. Appearance: A truly beautiful bottle with a substantial lid. The color is a very pale sunlit gold, and it has legs that fade. Aroma: Intense cane sugar sweetness, presumably from using twice the agave of other distillers, overpowering the vegetal scent, which is a positive. Hints of vanilla are abundant, along with a touch of sea salt. Taste: SMOOTH! A pleasant vanilla sharpness, very light and agile, with sugary notes throughout and an airy quality. Finish: A very subtle effervescence initially, which then dissipates. The refreshing taste almost acts as a palate cleanser. Beautiful finish. The only drawback to this tequila is its lack of complex flavor.

Brad Reagan 3.0

Smooth, with mellow sweet roasted agave and gentle spice, and a very slight oily texture. I understand its appeal. It's enjoyable and easy to drink, but it leaves something to be desired, particularly considering the price. It seems comparable to Avion and Milagro. Costs $88 in Ontario.

Leigh Foy 4.5

The aroma is primarily sweet and syrupy. It sips very smoothly neat, with subtle notes of citrus and pear, and a warm, honeyed finish.

Brett Hinton 5.0

Smooth and precise. It goes down easily without harshness, with subtle sweet notes on the finish. Drink up!

Kerry Holt 2.0

Pleasantly smooth yet it's missing character. Costs $80 CAD

Carey Dwyer 4.0

Sweet and buttery. Flavors reminiscent of cloves.
