This is a delicate tequila that truly reveals itself with time. The nose offers agave, citrus, the smell of rain on dry earth, and wet stone. The texture is soft and slightly slick, yet simultaneously light and invigorating. On the palate, I detect agave, lime zest, vanilla, roasted cactus pads, wet stone, and subtle notes of green melon and rose water. The finish is long, warm, and peppery, with additional flavors of roasted cactus pads, wet stone, and a vegetal sweetness.
