About this bottle
This marks Tequila Ocho's third limited edition overproof plata tequila release, reaching a new high of 54% ABV (108 proof). "Puntas" refers to a distillation cut taken from the end of the heads and the start of the heart, traditionally reserved for the distiller. The agaves were sourced from Rancho Mirandillas, a field near the town of the same name in Jalisco's highlands. This additive-free tequila, with 3,500 cases allocated to the US, is available nationwide as of August 2024, carrying an SRP of $74.99.
