About this bottle
Tequila Santaleza, a collaboration involving Chopin Imports and the Lopez-Villareal family of San Matias, is crafted from 100% blue Weber agave originating from Los Altos, Jalisco. This tequila is produced without additives or a diffuser. Its manufacturing process utilizes a mechanical donkey, Pepe, to power the tahona for crushing cooked agave, and employs natural open-air fermentation. The blanco is bottled directly after production, without any barrel aging. Initial distribution commenced in February 2023 across select US markets, with expansion to additional regions anticipated.
