padre azul blanco

$75 blanco tequila. You'd think they would have enough additives to hide the terrible tequila used for this but unfortunately not. The agave notes are watery and weak at best, flooded by an aspartame vanilla, then notes of spearmint and then the aspartame bitter finish. This stuff is rancid. I'm so glad I did NOT buy this. Not that I would buy a tequila bottle that looks like a cheap t-shirt lol

Excellent citrus on the nose, with oranges, lemons, agave, and alcohol. The taste is sweet, with pepper and hints of citrus. I haven't encountered many Blancos suitable for sipping, but I enjoyed sipping this one. It's a bit too sweet to drink in large quantities. My rating is based solely on taste, disregarding the bottle's cost.
