New World Projects: Baranows Selection #2 PX Cask is an offering from New World Distillery in Melbourne, Australia, the experimental division of NW Distillery, known for the Australian Single Malt Starward. This expression originated from a 50-liter ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry cask. The spirit was filled at 55.7% ABV on March 4, 2011, and removed from the barrel at 59.3% ABV on September 1, 2014. In a little over three and a half years, more than a quarter of the contents evaporated, resulting in only forty-four bottles.
