About this bottle

Black Gate Distillery was established by Brian and Genise Hollingworth in 2012. Their output, ranging from award-winning rums to native Australian liqueurs and now their single malt whisky, has garnered attention since their inception. Their single malt whisky undergoes double distillation in a copper pot-still and is aged for two years in ex-sherry casks. The distillery is progressing towards utilizing exclusively local grains and fruits. This review pertains to the fourth batch.
