Killara

Nose: Grain, banana, apple, and esters. Palate: Refined honey, with port sweetness. Finish: Long and well-balanced with subdued notes. Comments: A better than average bottle, but I wished for a slightly higher alcohol content as it seems a bit diluted. I'm eager to see their future creations.

A wonderful small distillery in Tasmania, with a beautiful location and welcoming staff. We sampled all their spirits, and the whiskey was my favorite.
