About this bottle

Don Pilar Añejo is crafted from 100% blue agave cultivated by the producer across five ranches situated in the Los Altos (Highlands) area of Jalisco, near San José de Gracia. The agave is harvested at 10 years of age. Notably, this añejo tequila was the inaugural product introduced by the brand, under the guidance of distiller Don José Pilar Contreras Marquez and Grupo Industrial Tequilero de los Altos de Jalisco, S.A. de C.V. (NOM 1443). It is bottled at 40% ABV following an 18-month maturation period in new American white oak barrels.

A sophisticated Tequila from Highlands - Los Altos, Mexico, produced by Grupo Industrial Tequilero de los Altos de Jalisco using 100% Blue Agave cultivated on five private estates; it has been matured for 18 months in new American Oak casks. Its initial aroma features hints of toasted oak, fruits, and butterscotch, while its full and rich character introduces notes of pineapple, chocolate, and baked agave, leading to a balanced and tropical conclusion with hints of sweet oak and pineapple.
