Mucha Liga honors the Mexican wrestling tradition of lucha libre through three tequilas, each representing a distinct luchador character and presented in handmade, mask-shaped glass bottles. This wrestling style is a long-standing tradition, as is the craft of tequila production, which is carried out here using traditional methods and sustainable practices in Juanacatlán. The agave is cultivated in La Ciénega, an area known for its fertile soil that has not experienced over-harvesting. Canibal is a reposado that spends 6 months aging in ex-bourbon casks.
