Over a century ago, in the small town of Turvolândia, in southern Minas Gerais, the Gouveia Vieira family would gather to discuss life and celebrate. Cachaça Gouveia Brasil is produced in new American oak barrels. Passed down from father to son, an as-yet-unnamed distillate captured all those conversations. In the third generation of the family, Roberto Brasil, a publicist and musician, decided to turn all that tradition into a brand. Since then, the carefully placed barrels on the old property have given rise to an extremely modern artisanal facility, with controlled and limited production that ensures all the perfection, care, and balance of the products. This Cachaça is intense yet balanced; the alcohol is present but integrated. It presents notes of coconut, vanilla, dried fruits, honey, almonds, and wood in the right proportions. It pairs well with pork rinds, fish fillet, jamon, paella, cod, and even a good barbecue. Cachaça Gouveia Brasil Intense Content Premium Oak is aged for 3 years in new American oak barrels. Robust, it has an alcohol content of 44%. With an intense golden amber color and unique oiliness, the drink has a rich and elegant woody flavor, reminiscent of new barrels. It pairs well with all types of dishes prepared with beef, pork, poultry, and fish, especially leather dishes. It is also a great option to accompany fine sausages, chocolates, and tobacco. It can be consumed neat or with ice and used to prepare drinks and cocktails. Source: Cachaçaria Nacional.
