About this bottle
Brazil, home to 60% of the Amazon Rainforest, offers a vast array of native woods for its national spirit. Unlike whiskey and tequila, which typically use only a few wood types for aging, cachaça has access to an extensive selection. Avuá Cachaça Tapinhoã, introduced in September 2016, is matured in a rare South American native wood. This tapinhoã cask, repurposed from vintage family barrels, aged the cachaça for a minimum of 2 years and it is bottled at 40% ABV.
