About this bottle
This aged cachaça, Avuá Bálsamo Cachaça, was released in late summer 2018 as part of Avuá's Native Wood Aged Collection. Produced from single-estate sugarcane of four selected varietals, it matures for up to two years in bálsamo wood. This wood, native to Central and South America, is used to craft large vertical casks for aging and gives the cachaça a burgundy hue.
