About this bottle
Avuá Cachaça Oak debuted in the U.S. in October 2014. This single-sourced cachaça is produced by Katia Espírito Santo, a third-generation distiller, at her farm in Carmo, Rio de Janeiro. The sustainably made spirit ages for up to two years in carvalho (French oak), the prevalent wood for aging cachaça in Brazil, which previously held white wine.
