About this bottle
Alma del Jaguar Nocturna is made at Feliciano Vivanco Distillery in Arandas, Jalisco, from single estate Los Altos agave and 100% wild yeast. The agave is cooked in stone and brick ovens, then fermented in open-air stainless steel tanks with added fibers to enhance fermentation and flavor. It undergoes two distillations in small copper pots, also with added fibers for complexity. Batch releases mean variations between bottles are expected. It is bottled unfiltered by hand at the source. Alma del Jaguar supports organizations that protect wild jaguars in the US and Mexico through donations and fundraising. It is bottled at 50.5% ABV.
