Heads up, this is not a spirit for the masses. Appearance: Fairly clear. Smell: Plum with sharp alcohol. Nice, but potent. Taste: A lot of intense, clean alcohol, very strong. Also notes of dried plum with little sweetness (not sickening like many other plum brandies I've encountered). Aftertaste: More clean alcohol and dry plum. A trace of wood? Brief and somewhat acrid. Overall: As I noted earlier this is NOT for everyone. Most will grimace, perhaps gag, and feel like they're dying as the liquid seems so smooth and powerful it reminds many of lighter fluid or paint thinner. The surprising thing is I actually found this invigorating. The smell, taste, and aftertaste were just so unadulterated, direct, delicious, and refreshingly dry that I couldn't help but enjoy it. It actually brought thoughts of central Europe to mind and made me not care at all about the clear absence of complexity. Note: This was a gift from family. I have no clue about the price.

High-proof plum brandy comparable to a very potent moonshine. On the nose, some fruit notes can be detected but they are overpowered by the alcohol, and in the mouth, it resembles paint thinner. I received the bottle from an acquaintance who could not find anyone to appreciate it, and after several tries, neither I nor anyone else found it palatable, so it has been discarded.
