About this bottle
Mahia, a fig brandy with a hint of anise seed, is considered Morocco's national spirit. Nahmias et Fils is the exclusive U.S. supplier of locally produced Mahia. This brandy draws inspiration from a Nahmias family recipe dating back to 1900. Master Distiller David Nahmias personally crafts small batches of Mahia in New York. Approximately five pounds of select California figs are required to make each 750 ml bottle.
