Yuu Baal Tepeztate

Nose has jalapeno, serrano, grilled pineapple, fresh flowers, mint, basil, salt, and a touch of ethanol. Palate is vegetal, jalapeno, light char, grilled pineapple, crushed mint, eucalyptus, strong mineral water, and juniper. The finish is lengthy with lingering green vegetables and chili peppers, green pineapple, flower petals, pine needles, earthy salt, and medium ethanol. This smells amazing and tastes great too! I'm a big fan of the few tepeztate expressions I've tried. Finding this in NC or OH is tough, and it usually goes for over $100. Thankfully, Yuu Baal makes great stuff and offers these in 375 mL bottles. I currently have 3 of their bottles and would like to find the Jabali and Ensamble.

The aroma is herbal, with green wild agave, rubber, char, and ash, plus a subtle sweet fruit and earthiness. The taste is smooth, with mild smoke, herbal agave, and earth. A peppery, lingering end.
