Yuu Baal Joven Espadín Mezcal

Still new to this, but I agree with the previous comments and these are my own words summarizing the general consensus — the spicy, peppery quality is accurate, but for me personally, it hits hard upfront but goes down much smoother than the flavor profile suggests, and in a good way. The smoke is not overpowering, just right, I thought. There's more to the aroma and flavors, but I don't have the words for it yet! I definitely like it.

This is superior to tequila. My initial experience with mezcal has been a pleasant one. A pleasant smoky essence lingers on the palate. As a newcomer to spirits, this is a bottle I would repurchase.

Aroma of wood smoke, baked bread, black pepper, piquant agave, and cured meat. The palate is smoky, peppery, and fiery. It's not as layered as the reposado, yet the assertive pepperiness still impresses.

As a beginner mezcal drinker, this is my second bottle. This mezcal is less smoky than my previous one, and I appreciate the smoke. It's smooth, warming, and easy to consume; it doesn't leave a lasting impression.

Great value Mezcal with the ideal balance of smoke and sweetness. Excellent value and my top choice for cocktails and sipping.
