I am a professional photographer and have worked in the spirits industry for many years. Some of my clients include Brown Foreman, Labrot and Graham, mclain and kyne, and Anheuser-Busch. I recently discovered Mezcal Mala Idea and fell in love with it. I am very familiar with Mezcal and have produced work in Mexico with several different Mezcal producers. I must say that Mezcal Mala Idea is at the top of their game and crafting some of the finest Mezcals currently available. I would highly recommend trying this brand...

About this bottle
The brand's motto is "Bad ideas lead to amazing adventures." This mezcal represents an adventure in exploring Oaxaca's landscapes to find wild agave varieties. It features 100% karwinskii (cirial) agave, which was harvested when 16-18 years old. Following traditional clay oven roasting, it was fermented for over 5 days in exposed pine vats with a local yeast strain. The spirit undergoes a double distillation using copper and regional wood, and is bottled without additional aging.
