This blended Irish whiskey is a product of a collaboration with the notable Canadian winemaker Inniskillin. After their initial aging periods, the triple-distilled single malt and single pot still whiskeys were transferred into Inniskillin icewine hogsheads for an extra 12 months of maturation. It is presented at 46% ABV.

Nose: A subtle pear drop scent with crisp green apple. The finish through the nose has caramel toffee apple. Palate: A slightly oily feel. A sweet surge of concentrated white grape. Mild oak spice. Orchard fruits. Finish: Lingering wine notes and some dry tannins. Comments: This was just opened and I believe it needs time to settle. I will try it again in approximately one month.
A substantial fruit-forward aroma with a whisper of fudge. It has a medium body, and the wine cask imparts a pleasant, not overpowering, sweetness along with fruit notes. A touch of powdered sugar is detected. A subtle sulfuric character is noticeable but doesn't significantly detract. Generally, it's quite enjoyable, though I favored the cask strength version more.
Presents distinct characteristics reminiscent of scotch, especially those aged in sherry casks, but includes a pleasant caramel apple finish and mouthfeel associated with caramel.
Pleasantly smooth and sweet, but there's something odd about the character of the sweetness.
Very light and refreshing. The ice wine characteristics come through well.
