A friend gifted me this while in Ireland, and it's outstanding. Flavors of caramel, wood, and fruit are present, with a surprisingly pale color and a very smooth character. Limited to 10,000 bottles and exclusively sold in Europe.
Remarkably smooth and easy to drink, yet intricate on the finish. There are some woody tannins, making it a bit dry. I definitely wish the alcohol by volume was higher. Still, an excellent Irish whiskey, if only it were more affordable.
I anticipated more from a 21-year-old, yet it's a quite good Irish blend and reasonably priced. It has notes of vanilla, fresh sweet fruits, and honey. The finish is short to medium in length.
A pleasant pour. Butterscotch, Bailey's notes, a significant degree of spicy oak, with a very minor imbalance in the wood, but still a good drink.
This is absolutely delicious. The aroma is of maple syrup, with a very balanced sweetness from the grain and an exceptionally smooth finish.
The smooth and velvety aroma and flavor of this whiskey are unforgettable. It's also quite rare.
