Wild tepeztate maguey requires 25 to 30 years to mature before harvest. At the distillery in Oaxaca, Maestro Beto triple distills its pressed juices before bottling at 45% ABV. Production is very limited, with only 480 bottles produced.

It's smooth and quite mellow. A touch of sting. It's somewhat generically bitter with a deep savory character but not much depth. A bit vegetal and earthy. A bit of sweetness, smoke, and the expected iodine. Not amazing.
From the ORGULLA-10-AMM lot. It presents subtle floral and fruity hints, alongside a strong spicy character and a pleasant sweetness.
