About this bottle

Vieux Carré Absinthe, produced at Philadelphia Distilling in the United States, undergoes a double maceration with grand wormwood, petite wormwood, green and star anise, fennel doux Provence, melissa, genepi, hyssop, and spearmint. Following an initial maceration with a neutral grain base, it is distilled. Post-distillation, selected herbs are incorporated to impart its signature verte or green hue. It is bottled at 60% ABV.

It begins aromatically, leading to a bold experience that concludes with a lengthy finish requiring dilution! March 2017
