Thanks to a friend. Not my typical drink, but hey, embracing the moment. Smells sweet, like port wine, with notes of peach and vanilla. On the palate, it's smooth and fruity with vanilla undertones.

About this bottle
Jean-Sebastien Robicquet, an oenologist and distiller, created La Quintinye Vermouth Royal. The brand uses Pineau des Charentes, a wine-based aperitif crafted from grape must and cognac. For this Rouge variety, red Pineau des Charentes is combined with white wine and 28 distinct botanicals. It contains no artificial coloring. The name honors Jean-Baptiste de la Quintinye, botanist to King Louis XIV and creator of the Kitchen Gardens at the Palace of Versailles.
