Alessio Vermouth di Torino Rosso uses Piedmont white wine as its foundation. Its creation involves grand and petite wormwood, along with 25 additional roots, herbs, and spices. Alessio Piemontese is a pseudonym for Girolamo Ruscelli, a 16th-century Renaissance figure who compiled a manual of traditional medicinal recipes in 1555. These recipes might have formed the basis for what is currently understood as vermouth. The brand bears his name in tribute.

More bitter than Punt e Mes. Quite flavorful with wormwood prominently featured. I actually like it by itself; its potent flavor would dominate a cocktail.
