This rhum agricole is unusual compared to the typical AOC® brands from French islands. It's made using both pot and column stills, from cane juice, and is a mix of Ron Agricola from San Juan Artisan Distillers and Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos, matured in American oak for three years. It's enjoyable and slightly less sharp than some agricoles, showcasing the complexity from the different stills while keeping the classic peppery, grassy character. The finish is lengthy and spicy.
