A predictable rum in terms of taste. It's very mellow with a traditional, though unexciting and uncomplicated, flavor profile. It's not excessively sweet; in fact, the finish leaves you wanting more sweetness as it's quite dry. Its smoothness compensates somewhat for this. It can be comfortably enjoyed neat without any water.

An outstanding rum. Good flavor, not excessively sweet, and offers some depth with a pleasing finish. The color is very attractive. It delivers what one expects from a good, aged rum in this price range. The presentation is unparalleled. This bottle will become my infinity bottle once emptied!
I have a preference for Ron, so this is a smooth offering from Don Q, a brand typically known for lower-end rums and flavored drinks.
Reportedly affordable, yet I found it delightful. A touch sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. A fine transition from whiskies.
I really like this rum. It is excellent for drinking straight. It is very mellow with a pleasant sweetness similar to honey on the finish. I enjoy it very much.
Tastes like artificial vanilla flavoring. Thin, weak mouthfeel. I would not purchase again.
