Tiffon Grande Champagne Cognac

Damn cat, last night I was serving dinner, standing a couple of paces away, distracted by my phone. I heard a chewing sound and, lo and behold, it turns out he's a fan of goat curry. Tonight, I poured this Cognac, got up, and when I returned, he had knocked the whole thing over. Now, if he had done that to the last one, I wouldn't have cared, but cats being cats, he did it to my favorite dram of the evening. Fortunately, the glencairn glass was wide enough at the base to hold about a third of it. After the last incident, I was wondering if maybe I was just over Cognac after an average streak, but this has restored my belief. Very deep, rich flavor. Although it's well-balanced, it seems to have a higher alcohol content than it does. Well, that's it for the Wednesday night session... I might go strangle a cat before day 3 brings me new annoyance in the form of him sticking his large face where it's not wanted...
