Louis XIII Nose: Plum, pear, Sauterne, red delicious apple. Harmonious and pleasant. Palate: Truly exceptional, it's among the finest spirits I've ever sampled. The rendered flavors are incredibly delicious, yet remarkably restrained. More than anything else I've tried, this embodies drinking the ambrosia of the gods. Finish: A long, flawless finish. It's smooth and full of flavor. If you could graphically represent the perfect finish in a Michelin-star culinary sense, the craftsmanship here is simply unmatched.

Before the liquor store owner sold his business, he opened this incredible bottle for all employees, giving us an unforgettable experience. Upon opening, the scent of roses filled the entire space. Extremely floral taste! Very, very smooth with barely any alcohol burn. I hope to drink this again!

Deanne Horan 4.5

They warmed the glass, which strikes me as unusual, but I was informed it enhances the aroma and flavors. It's genuinely quite good, with hints of caramel and apricots. As it rested, the caramel notes gave way to cinnamon.

Jazlyn Camarena 4.0

The aroma is not very potent, and while the palate is smooth, there's no sense of layered complexity developing over time. The overall taste does not justify the price; much of what was paid was for the Baccarat bottle.

Pleasant caramel hue. Aroma carries fruit and almond notes. Taste echoes the fruit, almond, and honey. Exceptionally smooth, far more so than the XO. Divine nectar!
