Dominant oak notes of sawdust and vanilla are present, alongside lighter hints of cinnamon and caramel, which are more typical for this brand. However, it extends beyond that with blackcurrant, blueberries, orange zest, coriander, violets, and azaleas. The finish is exceptionally long, leaning more towards orange pith and coriander.
Wonderful cognac, smooth with loads of character. It evolves on your palate long after swallowing.
I truly did not anticipate the depth of flavor this offers, given my limited experience with other cognacs. Exceptionally good.
