Served neat. It has a very pale straw color. The aroma is gentle. It presents dusty wood, fruity agave, some fruit, a little vanilla, caramel, mint, and spice. The taste is pleasant and sweet, with fruity agave, pepper, light caramel, sweet cinnamon, a hint of nuttiness, orange zest, oak, leather, cardamom, and vanilla. The finish is quite dry, with sweetness, oak tannins, black pepper, and cardamom.

About this bottle
The Las Presas ranch in Jesus Maria, once belonging to Carlos Camarena's great-grandfather, lends its name to this bottling. The agaves harvested from this location were 6.5 years old. The agaves were cooked in an oven for 72 hours before their juice, or miel, was extracted using a roller mill. Following a 4-5 day fermentation, the juice is double-distilled. This reposado was aged for 64 days in used whiskey barrels.
