A delicate Agave Spirit. Its aromatic beginning features notes of cooked agave, wood, fruits, flowers, herbs & spices; a balanced middle adds hints of vanilla, plantain, caramel & orange zest; leading to a quick & dry end with notes of jalapeño, oak, cinnamon & honey.

About this bottle
Tequila Chamucos Reposado originated as a collaborative venture among friends before evolving into a fully established brand. The agave plants are harvested between 8 and 10 years of age and are roasted in a brick oven before undergoing column distillation in stainless steel. The reposado variant is aged for seven months in former bourbon barrels and is presented in hand-blown glass bottles. It is additive-free.

I sampled it with a big ice cube. The aroma is sweet and earthy, with hints of agave, grass, and dirt. The taste is smooth with a subtle pear flavor. I should probably try it neat next, but it's easy to drink with a large ice cube.
Excellent for sipping neat or on the rocks. Sweet with a surprisingly smooth finish, more typical of an añejo. Pairs well with a sour beer or gose as a chaser.
I'm saving this bottle for my wedding reception! An incredibly tasty tequila that truly honors the spirit's heritage.
Really delightful - a pleasant flavor, it almost has a honey aroma and is not harsh at all. I like this one.
Unrefined, with a taste reminiscent of tar. Not suitable for slow sipping.
