Drank neat. Pale yellow with lingering legs. The aroma is clean and pleasing, with expected heat, agave, traces of oak, woody spices, herbs, earth, mild caramel, and vanilla. The taste begins with agave, then is quickly overtaken by intense hot cinnamon. After that initial intensity, it subsides slightly, revealing notes of mild caramel, vanilla, mint, anise, and other baking spices. The finish is long and dry, with sweet and hot cinnamon, and a herbal bitterness. This is a distinctive bottle in my collection, being a high-proof reposado. It offers more whisky and bourbon heat and spice compared to other tequilas. This would be an excellent choice for those transitioning from other spirits.

Intense roasted agave, oak, mild pepper, but with some warmth from the alcohol content. Comparable to Herradura. Not sold in Ontario.

Smooth, reposado flavor with an equal balance of spice and fruity agave. I would drink this again.
It's mellow and complex, with hints of floral and pepper. I didn't find it as remarkable as I'd hoped.
The best reposado available! Makes cocktails smooth and refined.
