About this bottle
The Contreras family, whose ancestor Don Jose Trinidad Contreras co-founded Valle de Juarez in 1845, produces Tequila Distinguido. Don Jose earned his name by being a distinguished agave harvester in his youth. This reposado tequila is crafted from 100% blue weber agave, baked in a stainless steel oven, and double-distilled in a column still. It ages for 7 to 9 months in American white oak barrels.
