This gentle spirit originates from Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico, made with Weber Azul Agave. The agave is cooked in stone/brick ovens, fermented in stainless steel, and twice distilled in a Stainless Pot Still with a Copper Coil. It matures for 6-8 months in former Jim Beam Bourbon barrels, and 2% Agave nectar is incorporated before it's bottled at 35% ABV. It starts gently with cooked agave, red fruit, wood, herbs, and spices. Its smooth progression introduces cherry notes; this leads to a swift and balanced finish with Agave nectar, white pepper, oak, vanilla, caramel, and cinnamon. November 2022 / July 2025

The reposado offers a superb harmony of oak and spices that enhance the honey-forward sweetness of this tequila. Similar to its Blanco version, it presents robust notes of honey, citrus, and fruits, with the addition of oak and spices. The aroma is strongly woody, with hints of vanilla, pepper, and spices. The finish is smooth and oaky, with a lingering honey taste.
It's still a decent spirit to sip, though I didn't find it as pleasing as the Suavecito’s Extra Anejo.
