About this bottle
Solbeso Cacao Eau-de-Vie is a cacao spirit with minimal connection to chocolate. Unlike chocolate, which is derived from the cacao bean itself, Solbeso is made from the pulp surrounding the beans. Creator Thomas Higbee conceived this spirit, transforming the byproducts of chocolate production from "trash" into "treasure." It is made from select cacao varieties, chosen for their delicate qualities and aromas, sourced from Peru, the Dominican Republic, and Ecuador.
