Excellent smell (I enjoy getting some on my fingers after pouring). The aroma is similar to prunes. The alcohol burn is a bit intense, making me question if it's a younger blend, but the taste is quite good, albeit a bit brief and direct. It has caramel and dried fruit notes in the finish. It's not exceptionally smooth, but it's certainly enjoyable, even if the dryness is a bit overwhelming.

About this bottle
Courvoisier Sherry Cask Finish, a limited edition launched in February 2019, was developed specifically for the U.S. market, following the brand's Courvoisier's Master's Cask Collection Sherry Cask Finish. This expression involves cognac aged between two and eight years in French Limousin oak, which is then further matured in sherry casks for at least four months.

Pleasant flavor, with an aroma like toasted marshmallows. It fades quickly from the mouth, but is very enjoyable while it lasts.
