Aroma is almost vegetal, grape-like… with a lot of ammonia as well! The peat is certainly noticeable, but not overpowering. Green and yellow flavors are upfront, then the peat yields to caramel before leaving a chemical sensation with hints of vanilla. And wow, that taste really persists! Was part of the Spirits Co Peated Whiskys Advent Calendar.

Smoky spirits are my jam, and this one ranks among my top picks! It offers salinity, smoke, a touch of sweetness that avoids being cloying, and a chocolatey finish. It feels very cozy, warm, and reassuring.
Reminds me of a campfire on the coast with dark chocolate s'mores. It's warm and comforting.
Tar, chili, burnt plastic, salt, and salted sweet popcorn.
